We endorse our parallel training in search and rescue dog work
and IGP because the fundamental structure, with regard
to 'drive resilience' (resilience of
behavior), tractability, and resilience , forms a solid
foundation for search and rescue dog work . In our view, IGP work
is very beneficial for search and rescue dog
work, as it is based on the same type of
'drive development' and requires the dog to demonstrate impulse control,
motivation changes, and obedience.
